Joey writes primarily YA fantasy, though she likes to delve occasionally into the dark depths of realistic fiction. She spends most of her time living vicariously through her characters. Which means she’s died. A lot.
She obtained a BA in Japanese language and literature but has never been to Japan. Despite working in international trade, she is rapidly forgetting the language. Just as she did with German. And French.
So it goes.
Joey is the proud mother of Wulfgar, a Pomeranian/Chihuahua who thinks he’s a German Shepherd.
